This is our second visit to this store. Our first visit was to purchase a sofa and love seat for our basement. We made the purchase with help from Karen. She was amazing! Very friendly and funny, lol. She was so great that we decided to come back again and purchase a dining table and chairs. She made both experiences very comfortable and enjoyable. I had a problem on delivery two times where the China part of my dining room set was damaged on the initial delivery and on the follow up delivery. I called customer service due to my frustrations and I told them that I wanted a refund and for them to take back all of the furniture. The rep must have thought that she was speaking to someone stupid and told me that I was not entitled to a refund. I asked to speak to a manager and after waiting 30 minutes to speak to one, she told me that they were entitled to three delivery attempts to make it good and that I was not entitled to a refund until the third delivery attempt. Again, she must have thought that I was stupid. If you order something (a set in this case) and they cannot make good on it, then you have every right to a refund!! I decided to call the actual store where I made the purchase and George the manager answered. I made him aware of the situation and also reminded him that I am a two time customer to date totaling over $8,000 in furniture from his store. He was extremely helpful and offered me my delivery fee back of over $300 and a chance to re-deliver this coming Wednesday 12/27/2017. I will let you know the outcome after delivery. The only reason why I would go back to Bob's is because of George, otherwise, I would take my business elsewhere and I have much more furniture to purchase to complete my home. If successful I will change my 2 stars to at least 4. Bob's needs a new customer service team and George should get a raise in salary. That is my 2 cents....
On 11/4/17 Amanda and Sarah exceeded my expectations in handling a manufactures defect that I was having absolutely no luck with over the phone. The customer service they provided was second to none. This was only my second time at this Bob's location once in 2015 ant this one both times the customer service in the store was fantastic. I will forever be a Bob's Discount Furniture customer after this last experience!!!!!
Your sales associate Jack provides us with excellent service today. He greeted us as soon as we walked in and took us to where the bed frames and mattresses were. After trying out several we made our selection. Jack was very helpful and knowledgeable explaining all the features and materials we might need. Overall this was a very positive experience and I always recommend Bobs Furniture to all my friends.
Great customer service! We were working with Julie B and she was fantastic. We came into the store and wanted a living room set and a complete dining set for first time homeowners. We put a deposit down and came back a couple weeks later. Julie was generous to come into work on her day off to help us finance. She was patient with me while I asked advice about furniture matching and decor. Thanks so much Julie and we will for sure recommend Bob's Discount Furniture to others.
