First I went 3 wks after I had my daughter I had lost all my baby weight plus 5 pounds. I was ecstatic everyone said how great I looked considering I just had a baby. They informed on I was not his overweight but obese I'm 5`2 and weighed 156. Now here's the thing that really got me mad they don't know my history or the fact that I've been battling one weight issue or another since I was 17 and have spent 1000's of dollars on therapy to get to the point where I am today or where I was at the time of the appointment its taking me almost 20 yrs to ignore the bmi (which doesn't take into account bone structure. Well thank you overweight caseworker u sent me back into a starving myself binge eating and diet pill hell and a few other things
I just moved to this county and I called to schedule an appointment. No one answered, no big deal, so I left a message...THEY CALLED ME BACK...THE SAME DAY! My old WIC office just never called you back, period. And whoever called me back was super pleasant and friendly, not the usual "I hate life & my job & y'all are annoying me" type. I was caught off guard and surprised. I hope the actual appointment goes just as well.
