I was a nervous wreck and unbelievably scared, so I called around 8pm and asked if I could still come in so late. They reassured me that it was fine, and to bring her in for some x-rays to make sure she was okay. I don't recall the vet's name, but she was AMAZING. She didn't act at all annoyed to stay late and make sure my pup was okay, and she managed to calm me down with some nice chatting while we waited. Seriously could not have had a better experience. So glad I decided to pick a vet close to home!
I have been going to this facility and its previous location off and on for 30 years. Some of the women that work here now and in the past are downright hostile. Misha (previous manager) - was witch #1 and got karma in a big way didn’t you? Brenda - witch #2 that acts dumb but sneaky as hell - found another guy to marry you? Wow, you must be good at something!, Rhonda - get over your high school experience with Tara not saying hi to you - getting even now - take some lessons on being a decent person, and other numerous anonymous technicians that come and go - I don’t have enough space here or time to say it all. Dr. Jeffers was great and is now retired and unfortunately she left office affairs to some of the witches listed above. If you are a regular and spending $$$$, or you just go along with whatever they want to charge you then you will do well here.
I called today to find out how much it would cost to euthanize a domestic duck rescued from a local park that is disabled and would have starved at the park over this winter or have been eaten by another animal due to its inability to walk or swim. If needed, I inquired just in case the duck does not heal. In an effort to help the animal die in a more humane way, I asked about pricing. Some nasty, arrogant, heartless technician got on the phone and barked at me the price of $200.00. I stated that I paid less than that to get my 17 year old dog put down from them a couple of months ago.
Had an absolutely fantastic experience here last night. I came home to find that my dog had gotten out of her crate, gotten into the garbage, and eaten some chicken bones.
The service there was OUTSTANDING!!!!! The wait time was short . Our nurse Karen is a freaking rockstar!!! She made sure our pup was treated like a princess and the Doctor was amazing as well. Also the front desk secretary has the best humor anyone can ask for. The whole staff is amazing . Definitely recommend this place. Wait there's more the prices are Sooooo reasonable and affordable .
Have taken all 3 of my dogs here. Dr Struening was excellent. She did surgery on my one dog to remove a mass from her foot. Dr Barenbaum was excellent with my new pup Great Dane. She gave me so much knowledge n help for him. I am so happy with the Dr’s n staff. They take great care of your pets n r very friendly n caring. Thanks PBF!
We’ve been coming here for several years and have been very happy. Everyone is kind and compassionate. Dr. Barenbaum is wonderful!
Christina - who originally answered the phone and was genuinely concerned for this duck - good hearted and caring. Get out of that office before it changes you in a negative way.
Talk about compassion - right? All about the money...Good for you! I am still trying to rehabilitate this animal and have two animal sanctuaries helping me with trying to find a home for this sweet duck! No thanks to Pet’s Best Friend who for the past several years has been owned and operated by a Private Investment Company LLC and which owns many veterinarian facilities in this area - all about the money.
